We are a not for profit “Ltd by guarantee Company” formed from the old “Staithes Residents Association”.
Our aim is to help and support other local Groups and Organisations in the village, and add weight towards matters of concern within the community.
We also have a designated team who run the 100 club.
Where members of the local community give £1 per month towards a monthly draw. 50% of the proceeds are paid out in prize money and the remaining amount is paid to help local organisations and groups. Monthly details are published on our
Our principal concern at the moment is fighting to achieve a better broadband Internet speed in the area, especially in the lower village.
Every Year we publish the Staithes Calendar.
Which we fill with images of our beautiful Village. These are chosen by our Committee from photographs that have been submitted by members of the public.
If you have images of Staithes which you would like to be considered for next years Calendar, please submit them.
All film images must be in colour and a minimum size of A5, printed on glossy photographic paper.
Or if digital images, these must be at least 2 million pixels and burned to disc from the original size images.
Portrait format for the front page and Landscape for the inside pages.
All copy rights will be observed and discs or prints returned, together with a free Calendar for images which are chosen for inclusion in the Calendar..
