STAITHES COMMUNITIES LTD

Our Group is a Ltd Company by Guarantee and was formed out of the old “Staithes and Cowbar Residents Association”

We acquired our Ltd status so as to better protect our members and any groups associated with us.

Our aims remain the same, to do all we can to promote the Village and it’s amenities. Every year we publish the “Staithes Calendar”, which generates most of our revenue.

All our members and Directors are unpaid, which means all monies raised are reinvested in local worthwhile causes. A recent donation of £5000 was to the “Coble Courier”, our local Community Bus.   

Lifeboat Weekend

The Summer fun weekend will begin on Saturday 21st August 2010.The event will be organised with the support of Friends of the RNLI. Details will be announced when they become available.

A big thankyou to all those who helped with the Christmas celebrations.

Including those who helped erect and light the tree, the choir for the carol singing, the serving of mulled wine and mince pies, arranging and decorating the pagoda, and our own Santa.

We raised £100 for the Butterwick Hospice.
